AN OPERATING EXAMPLE

Triage a bounded operational case.

A clear case receives a typed first-tier answer. Ambiguous or out-of-distribution material moves to review. The downstream work still follows the institution’s authority and approval requirements.

Illustrative workflow. Integration and qualification required.
Purpose, scope and availability

REFLEX is designed around narrow, typed decisions and a two-level evaluation path. A small first tier handles eligible cases, while uncertainty or defined conditions send a case to a more capable review tier.

A model’s confidence and a fast answer do not establish authority. REFLEX supplies a decision or recommendation within a defined task; ICARUS checks whether an actual consequential action is permitted.
