WYRD FOUNDATION

Learn. Build.
Open possibilities.

An independent educational, scientific and talent-development institution in formation.

Independent institution and programme developmentNetwork, formation and delivery are being established

THE FOUNDATION MISSION

Talent is everywhere.
Opportunity should be too.

The Wyrd Foundation is being developed as an independent educational, scientific and talent-development institution. Its global mission is to widen access to learning, research, professional practice and useful projects despite constraints of money, equipment, connectivity or geography. Africa is a principal capacity-building geography within that global mission.

The intended core educational programmes are free to participate in. Local educators and institutions retain authority over their programmes. Learning participation does not create a commercial equity obligation or make learner data a company asset.

01

ALEC Education

A proposed programme for AI-supported tutoring, a governed research environment, project creation and a private, durable record of learning and demonstrated capability.

02

Praxis

A proposed programme for multidisciplinary professional practice in a shared simulated economy. Study real decisions, institutions and local-currency conditions before taking on real responsibilities.

03

Research and collaboration

Societies, competitions, cross-border projects and university-owned nodes connect methods and expertise with local experience.

04

Routes to opportunity

Programme-specific paths into further study, scientific work, placements, entrepreneurship and professional development.

Software evidence and programme development are distinct from academic accreditation, employment outcomes and a fully operating institutional network.

The network is proposed. Formation, leadership, university participation, programme funding and safeguarding must be established independently for each location.

INDEPENDENT BY DESIGN

A public mission.
Its own responsibilities.

The Foundation is planned as a legally independent institution with no shareholders, separate from Wyrd Group’s commercial companies. Its governance, accounts, contracts, participant information and programme decisions remain distinct.

Approved Wyrd technology can support education and research through defined zero-cost licences. Educational access gives no authority over commercial customer systems. University nodes retain local curriculum, procurement and data control.

Safeguarding, consent, age-appropriate design, educator support and independent evaluation are requirements of programme delivery. Research needs approved protocols, ethical review and purpose-limited data. Educational participation is voluntary; paid professional work requires a separate agreement.

Foundation income is intended to remain within its educational and scientific mission, supporting access, research, fellowships, safeguarding and programme delivery. The purpose is to expand capability and opportunity while protecting the people taking part.

MAKE CAPABILITY TRAVEL FURTHER

A fresh question can
be the beginning of useful work.

Innocence Translation belongs in education as well as research: listen to the problem in the learner's own language, connect it to the knowledge needed, and help them investigate, make and test. People can bring local experience, unfamiliar perspectives and ideas whose technical vocabulary they have not yet learned.

The intended network connects learners with educators, researchers, practitioners and founders across borders. Projects should leave behind understanding, skills and maintainable local capability. A route into entrepreneurship or professional work is a separate, voluntary step with its own terms. Participation in learning is not an obligation to work for Wyrd.

Commercial success can support the wider purpose through defined technology support and agreements. The Foundation retains its independent educational and scientific judgement.
