Different ways to act.

Our founding conviction

Monism gives Wyrd its direction: reality remains whole beneath the divisions of our knowledge. WUI is being developed to carry understanding between perspectives through relevant permitted memory, a shared purpose and an account of actions and results.

Intelligence with a body

Corpus extends the programme into physical systems, with defence central and civilian services alongside. Its software foundations, design studies and future machines have different stages of engineering, integration and qualification.

An intended international network

The narrated map shows the structure we intend to build by 2028, including Dubai as the Middle East platform. African expansion continues in 2029 and 2030. The map shows our ambition, with local formation and delivery still to establish.

The film combines original editorial animation, synthetic David narration and an original evolving electronic-orchestral score. Workflows, archival product surfaces and physical programmes retain their on-screen qualifications. Illustrative routes are not claims of deployments or partnerships.

Something happens in your business. A machine stops. Your engineer sees a fault. Operations sees a delay. Finance sees a cost. Your customer sees a promise you might not keep. Four perspectives. One event.

An institution already owns much of the knowledge it needs. A contract sits in one folder. A delivery date lives in a spreadsheet. A decision disappears into a meeting. Someone copies the same facts between applications, while the situation keeps changing. The problem is carrying understanding all the way into useful work.

Now place that problem in two settings. A growing organisation needs useful capability without a large technical department. An established institution needs to coordinate complex systems without surrendering control. Their circumstances differ. Both need technology that fits the world they actually operate in.

For a growing organisation in a developing market, a broken connection can interrupt a cloud-dependent task. Training, technical support and recurring costs also matter. Our local and cloud-optional design gives the programme a way to qualify essential work close to its users. Across markets, our goal is the same: people working in their own language, with local ownership and support built into delivery.

For an established organisation in a developed market, the difficulty may be connecting years of documents, applications and institutional knowledge. Sensitive records have boundaries. Different teams have different powers. Decisions need an explanation. Here, the same foundations support controlled integration, traceable actions and deployment choices that fit the institution's requirements.

These needs overlap. Any factory can lose its connection. Any bank can require rigorous access control. Wyrd starts with the institution, its people and its operating conditions. The value lies in bringing usable applications, connected intelligence, authority and evidence into one coherent programme.

Wyrd grew through the same method it wants to make available to others. Alec de Carvalho used AI to turn questions and metaphors into working components. Today, Alec, Rafael Reis, Maxime Binard and Cal Poppink bring product direction, engineering, relationships and entrepreneurship together. Labs and Creative support WyrdWork, ARGOS, Biota and Corpus.

Those divisions apply shared foundations to institutions, intelligence, private personal systems and the physical world. Our founding conviction is monism: reality remains whole beneath the divisions of our knowledge. We want intelligence to carry understanding between perspectives without losing the situation, purpose or responsibility connecting them. One intelligence. Many modes.

Wyrd Unified Intelligence gives that direction an architectural expression. Its unity comes from continuity: the same situation, relevant permitted memory, a shared objective, and an account of actions and results. Different models and tools contribute without losing the thread of what the work is for.

Memory gives that continuity a history. A useful memory connects what was observed, what was believed, what was authorised and what actually happened. Sources, versions and uncertainty matter. Access remains bounded: a common architecture does not give every person or agent permission to every memory.

Embodiment gives intelligence a world that can answer it. Sensors, software and machines reveal whether an expectation survives contact with reality. Results return to memory and review. Learning means revising understanding from evidence; changes to models or operating rules require their own validation.

A military unit needs supplies. Civilians need evacuation. Roads are damaged and communications are failing.

Corpus is Wyrd’s programme for intelligence that acts through physical bodies, with defence central and civilian services alongside.

WUI combines permitted information. People approve bounded tasks. Local models interpret; dedicated controllers handle movement and safety.

Bodies survey, locate civilians, resupply and reconnect. Disconnected work stays bounded; unapproved tasks wait. Records reconcile on reconnection.

Modular bodies receive compatible sensors, payloads and protection for the mission. Selected bodies could eventually dock and reconfigure.

Defence spans reconnaissance, protection, logistics, casualty support and armed-system concepts. Human command retains weapons release. Security and border programmes support authorised patrols.

Planned applications include medical delivery, patient assistance, rehabilitation and clinician-controlled equipment; firefighting; consumer delivery, remote cargo, industry, mining, entertainment and sport.

Leviathan takes Corpus underwater. AgenticX is planned for compatible third-party bodies. Planned Wyrd satellites support low-data machine connectivity.

Customers buy equipment and integration, or pay for missions: verified results without owning a permanent fleet.

Software exists. Bodies need engineering and qualification. Intelligence, authority and machines unite for verifiable results.

People and institutions define the authority under which this work happens. Standing mandates can permit bounded autonomy. Actions needing additional approval wait for it. ICARUS checks protected actions against the applicable authority, while evidence connects the request, decision, attempted action and observed result.

Customer control includes data, eligible models, keys and decisions. Local, hybrid and cloud configurations can serve different constraints. Disconnected operation requires the complete workflow to be qualified locally. As connectivity changes, the institution should retain a clear account of what can continue, what must wait and who remains in control.

Wyrd Work is the employee's daily workspace for documents, spreadsheets, presentations, communication and meetings, with routine AI assistance included. Familiar tasks become connected work. Our ambition is to make this accessible in every language, with capable tools and clear interfaces. Each language needs localisation, testing and support, so people can work in the language they know best.

Wyrd Unified Intelligence for Work connects permitted institutional knowledge, operational state, analysis and authorised work. It can connect to Work or to agreed existing systems. It is a separate intelligence and operations platform. The wider architecture also supports applications beyond the institutional workspace.

Imagine a supplier delay. An employee asks for help in ordinary English. Permitted records establish the agreement and the delivery. The system relates the disruption to customer commitments and responsible teams. It develops options using the institution's objectives and the evidence available.

The responsible person can challenge or choose a response. Authorised tasks move to people and tools. The eventual send or change receives its required checks. Then the result updates the same operational picture. If the response fails, that failure becomes something the institution can examine and learn from.

There is implementation evidence behind this direction. In a retained installed ICARUS test, the destination of a file action changed after approval. The action was refused before publication. That is a concrete behaviour we can inspect, within the conditions of that test.

Our case rests on the connections we are building and the behaviour we can demonstrate. Working components and selected workflows already exist. Complete integration, local operation, security, recovery and customer acceptance must be qualified together. That is how the programme can turn architectural ambition into a dependable service for a particular institution.

By twenty twenty-eight, this is the network we intend to build. A holding in Zug. European coordination in Lisbon, operating in Portugal and across the European Union. Singapore for the Asian continental platform, with the Chinese local company in Macau. Dubai anchors the Middle East platform. Angola anchors the African platform. Its first expansion wave adds South Africa, Kenya, Egypt, Morocco, Nigeria, Ghana and Côte d’Ivoire. Mozambique and Tanzania follow in twenty twenty-nine, then Senegal and Namibia in twenty thirty. Montreal anchors North America and our Canadian operation, with a United States pole in Boston. São Paulo anchors South America, with a Colombian pole in Bogotá. A connected structure, built through local people and locally qualified delivery.

Knowledge into understanding. Understanding into useful capability. Across different economies, infrastructures and institutions, people retain authority over what their technology can do. One intelligence. Many modes. That is the Wyrd we are building.
