Wyrd / Authorised compute fabric

ELIGIBLE SHARED CAPACITY

Use the capacity
you already control.

Explore governed background work across eligible computing nodes.

Research architecturePurpose, scope and availability

Authorised compute fabric, in context.

01

Enroll

Use only eligible, explicitly authorised nodes.

02

Place

Match a bounded job to suitable capacity.

03

Protect

Respect isolation and the person’s foreground work.

04

Measure

Compare quality, power, support cost and useful throughput.

AN OPERATING EXAMPLE

Start with a clearly defined use case.

Define the work, the information it may use and the result that matters. Integrate the required capabilities, test permissions and recovery, and evaluate the outcome before extending the scope.

Illustrative workflow. Integration and qualification required.
Purpose, scope and availability

The compute fabric is an optional architecture for independent background jobs on explicitly enrolled machines. Available capacity, information rights, cancellation and foreground work have to be controlled. Evaluations, document processing and separable research steps are possible test workloads.

Spare capacity is not free computing. Electricity, wear, scheduling, networking and support belong in the complete comparison.
